Opening Ceremony of VNPS 2011 Classes

The Vietnamese Photographic Society Photography Classes in 2011 started with the opening ceremony on Sunday 2/27/2011 in Falls Church, Virginia.

All new students (class 1) and continuing students then returned to their classrooms to begin a new school year which will meet on 34 Sundays.

Each Sunday, VNPS instructors provide students with lectures and guidance to practices right in their class rooms. Field trips are also included in the schedules for students to take pictures at selected sites throughout the Washington Metropolitan Area. Students also take pictures on the occasion of special events in the area, on holidays and even on week-days.

The slideshow will show you some of the pictures taken on the opening ceremony day: The first portion with pictures about the opening ceremony where Mr. Dzung Do, VNPS President, delivered a welcome message. He also talked about the teaching of photography including the class curriculum, and introduction of VNPS's instructors.

The slideshow will also show pictures of class rooms of level 1, 2 and 3.
